Inclusion Criteria

volunteers over 18 years old; with devices metal and ceramic orthodontics; good general and oral health; caries-free teeth; without gingival recessions and periodontal disease in the anterior region; who agree with the term of free and informed consent (TCLE); has one of the canines with color A2 or darker according to the Vita Classical scale

Exclusion Criteria

Patients who report previous tooth sensitivity; who had already undergone bleaching previously; smokers; women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; who were making continuous use of medication such as analgesics or anti-inflammatories; patients who used prostheses or had restorations in the upper anterior teeth; with parafunction, gingival recession; endodontic treatment of anterior teeth; severe tooth discoloration (tetracycline staining or fluorosis) and visible cracks in teeth
