Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1.Primary diagnosis of OCD
  • •2.Mild-moderate severity (up to 23 score on YBOCS)
  • •3.Insight score on YBOCS item 11 in the range of 0-2 (good to fair)
  • •4.Aged 18-50 years
  • •5.Having access to a smart phone- with Android Operating system and internet
  • •6.Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • •7.Stabilized on medication for at least one month

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1.History suggestive of/and/or schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, severe depression, mental retardation, epilepsy, head injury or other neurological disorders that would impede participation in the treatment.
  • •2.Suicidal Ideation (on clinical assessment) and/or any Axis II disorder that would impede participation in treatment
  • •3.Substance use, dependence, excepting Nicotine dependence in the past 6 months prior to recruitment.
  • •4.Previous exposure to structured cognitive behaviour therapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder (CBT comprising of exposure and response prevention) in the last 6 months.
