Brief Summary

the H. cordata fermentation product (HCFP) was safe in healthy adults during the time of intervention and no major adverse event was observed. HCFP exhibited immunostimulatory activity by enhancing the innate immunity (increased number of neutrophils) and adaptive immunity (increased CD4+: CD8+ ratio in older people).

Inclusion Criteria

1. Male or female
2. Aged 18 -50 years old
3. Must be healthy
4. No pregnancies
5. No smoking, drug, and other supplement.

Exclusion Criteria

Participants who had a history of allergies to herbs and taking other dietary supplements.
