Age between eighteen and thirty years years old; regular menstrual cycle for women between twenty two and thirty five days for at least six months; right handed confirmed by the Edinburgh Lateral Dominance Inventory; not using hormonal contraceptive agents for at least six months; having no history of neurological or psychiatric illness; not using psychotropic drugs; primary hearing or visual impairment that cannot be improved with corrective lenses or hearing aids.
Having a progesterone level less than ten nmol per liter on any day of the luteal phase reporting a period of the regular cycle as it is an indication of the lack of an ovulatory cycle; pregnancy; score on the Mini Mental State Examination scale below twenty four or twenty five points.
