Individuals of both sexes will be included; type 2 diabetics; above 18 years of age; that do not have any musculoskeletal changes or comorbidity that impedes the physical effort of the proposed stress test; and who present the medical release to participate in the study.
Individuals with an inability to understand or perform any proposed test will be excluded from the sample, those with an ankle-brachial index (ABI) of less than 0.90 or greater than 1.40 and those who withdraw their consent to participate.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Tissue oxygen saturation (StO2) of the medial gastrocnemius of the dominant leg at rest after arterial occlusion maneuver, and in physical effort during the Incremental Shuttle Walking Test (ISWT). Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) will be used as a measuring instrument before and after the intervention. The NIRS device that will be used has a portable continuous wave system, which uses light emission at two wavelengths (760 and 850 nm) to measure O2Hb, HHb and calculate StO2.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The functional capacity will be evaluated by the total distance covered in the ISWT before and after the intervention.
