1. Patients diagnosed with first ever Stroke
2. Sub acute 1-6m and chronic Stages greater than 6m
3. Haemmorhagic or Thrombolic stroke of ACA and MCA territories
4. Motor Activity Log Score lesser or equal to 3/5
5. Presence of movement in thumb and any one finger.
6. Mini Mental State Examination Score greater or equal to 24/30
1. Contracture at wrist or Elbow greater than 50 percent of the range of movement
2. Shoulder Pain greater than 7 out of 10 on numerical VAS Scale
3. Grade III Inferior Shoulder subluxation or Dislocation of the affected side shoulder
4. Stage I and II Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
5. Unilateral neglect
6. Patients unwilling to participate in the study
7. Any other recent neurological deficit that affects arm function
8. Any severe cardiovascular disease that can preclude intervention
9. Major Depression as identified by Major Depression Inventory
10. Inability to use unaffected upper limb for functional activities
