1.Children without any prior dental experience with dental environment and treatment
procedures.
2. Children who have atleast one carious tooth involving enamel and dentin requiring
restorative procedure either in mandible or maxilla.
3. Children falling under Franklââ?¬•s behaviour rating scale ââ?¬Ë?2ââ?¬• i.e negative: reluctance to
accept treatment, uncooperativeness, some evidence of negative attitude but not
pronounced.
1. Children suffering from any illness requiring special medical care.
2. Children presenting with acute pain and requiring emergency dental treatment.
