Inclusion Criteria
1) consenting adults
2) indication for orthodontic treatment
3) malocclusion of teeth, either crowding or spacing
Exclusion Criteria
1) dysgnathia;
2) craniofacial syndromes;
3) mental disorders;
4) diseases or dysfunctions affecting motor or cognitive abilities;
5) existence of dental implants.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary endpoint is reached after the initial phase of the treatment period, i.e. after approximately three months and accordingly after 6 aligner changes. <br><br>Up to this point, the wearing time (in hours/per day), number of treatment appointments, exact number of aligners, age and gender of the patients, place of treatment (clinic or practice) and health insurance status (private or statutory/self-payer) were recorded.
