Patients with one of the following primary disorder: Depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder or related disorder, trauma or stressor-related disorder, somatic or related disorder according to DSM-5. Patients are in the pre-therapy phase and plan to begin a cognitive behavioral therapy at the cognitive behavioral outpatient clinic of the Justus Liebig University Giessen. If patients take psychotropic medication the intake has to be stable for at least 4 weeks without any changes.
Language skills: German, fluently
Patients who currently meet the criteria of a dependence disorder or substance abuse (with the exception of nicotine), psychotic symptoms (present, in the past), manic episode (present, in the past), meeting criteria of a (recurrent) severe depression, meeting criteria of a borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, known/diagnosed intelligence or developmental disorder, severe physical or neurological disease, infectious disorders (present) or injury of the scalp, actual suicidality
