Inclusion Criteria
Ages 18 to 70
First surgical experience
Lack of family relationship with other participants in the study
No family history of Thyroidectomy
Not be part of the medical staff
Lack of speech and hearing problems
No dementia and cognitive impairment
Do not take medications that reduce or increase Cortisol (such as Corticosteroids, Anticonvulsants, Insulin)

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Anxiety score in Spielberger's overt anxiety questionnaire. Timepoint: Completion of the questionnaire before the intervention and after informing. Method of measurement: Spielberger Obvious Anxiety Questionnaire.;Measuring anxiety with salivary cortisol levels. Timepoint: Before the intervention and one day after provision of information. Method of measurement: Saliva sample in the amount of 3 to 5 cc.
