Inclusion Criteria
Subjects were included if they were :
1) older adults (aged over 60); 2) without any musculoskeletal pain and injury; 3) free from injuries that affect their stair activity or balance; and 4) able to stair walk without the use of a hand rail.
Exclusion Criteria
Subjects were excluded if they were :
1) any other recent (six months) or current spinal or lower extremity pathology; 2) severe osteoporosis; 3) a history of vestibular disease; and 4) a history of stroke
