Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.All patients above the age of 18 years requiring flexible bronchoscopy
- •2\.Flexible bronchoscopy done through the transnasal route
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Chronic lung disease(Obstructive or restrictive lung disease) patients with FEV1 \< 1\.5 litre/minute 5
- •2\.Oxygen saturation (SpO2\) of \= 95% as measured by a pulse oximeter at baseline
- •3\.Any requirement for supplemental oxygen in the past
- •4\.Patients with known or suspected allergy to Midazolam or Lignocaine
- •5\.Flexible bronchoscopy done through endotracheal or tracheostomy tube or trans\-oral route
- •6\.Patients on respiratory depressant medications
- •7\.Haemodynamically unstable patients
- •8\.Pregnancy and lactation
- •9\.Patients not willing for the study
