All subscales of the Japanese version of the SCREENIVF showed good reliability (alpha=.715 to .906). Confirmatory factor analysis showed a good fit of the 5 factors model. The performance of the anxiety subscale in detecting GAD-2 anxiety disorders was excellent, with sufficient sensitivity (90.6%) and specificity (66.2%). The performance of the depression subscale in detecting PHQ-2 depression was excellent, with sufficient sensitivity (72.7%) and specificity (82.5%).
