Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Written consent from parents or guardians
  • •2Children between 5\-18 years age
  • •3\.Evidence of filarial diseases like ADL, lymphedema and hydrocele.
  • •4\.History of filarial diseases.
  • •5\.Evidence of infection i.e. Mf positive or CFA positive or antibody positive for W.bancrofti.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Any systemic disease including cardio vascular or respiratory abnormality.
  • •2\.Abnormal liver and kidney function test.
  • •3\.Peripheral vascular diseases.
  • •4\.History of drug allergy to DEC.
  • •5\.H/O taking anti filarials in last one year
