Inclusion Criteria
i) Age between 18-70 years
ii)Patient giving consent
iii)Incision length more than 10 cm and less than 25 cm.
Exclusion Criteria
Concomitant midline incisional hernia.
ii) Pregnant women
iii) Patient on oral steroid therapy (corticosteroids) more than 2 weeks prior to surgery.
iv) Prior midline abdominal incision.
v) Chemotherapy within last 2 weeks before surgery
vi) Radiotherapy of abdomen 8 weeks before surgery
