Inclusion Criteria
persistent either unilateral knee pain or bilateral knee pain which is > 40 mm on a visual analogue scale (VAS: 0 to 100 mm)
ii.less than 30 min of morning stiffness
iii.crepitus on active motion
iv. restricted movement
v.radiologic findings of osteoarthritis (osteophytes formation, joint space narrowing, subchondral bone sclerosis, and subchondral cysts).
Exclusion Criteria
i.History of knee arthroplasty
ii.Traumatic injury related joint deformity
iii.Intra-articular injection before the enrolment
iv.Serious infection of the knee
v.Suspected tears in any ligaments or menisci or acute inflammation of the synovial capsule
vi.History of malignancy
vii.Autoimmune disease or inflammatory arthritis
