简要总结
This study titled “Immediate Effects of Patellar Mobilization and Myofascial Release on Pain, Alignment, and Functional Performance in Healthcare Students with Patellar Maltracking” aims to evaluate the short-term impact of physiotherapy techniques—patellar mobilization and myofascial release—on pain reduction, knee alignment, and functional improvement among healthcare students aged 18–25 years. Patellar maltracking, a common cause of anterior knee pain due to muscle and fascial imbalance, is prevalent among students involved in prolonged standing, walking, and squatting. The quasi-experimental pre- and post-interventional study includes 41 participants assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Q-angle, Kujala Patellofemoral Score, and Single Leg Squat Test. Interventions target the quadriceps, IT band, TFL, and gastrocnemius to correct muscle imbalances and improve patellar tracking. The study expects immediate improvement in pain relief, alignment, and functional performance, highlighting the importance of early conservative management for preventing long-term musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
