Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Children diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental disorder.
  • 2\.Patients falling in the chronological age group of 2years \- 7years.
  • 3\.Patients of either gender.
  • 4\.Children having diagnosed with constipation by paediatrician or paediatric surgeon.
  • 5\.Parents willing to participate in the study.
  • 6\.Parents understanding English language.
  • 7\.Patients with a stool form of type 1 and 2 in Bristol Stool Form Scale

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Unwilling parents.
  • 2\.Constipation secondary to gastrointestinal pathology such as Hirsch sprung disease, Currirano triad, hypothyroidism, anal stenosis, imperforate anus with fistula, anterior displacement of anus, celiac disease, neuronal intestinal dysplasia, prune belly syndrome etc.
  • 3\. Patients having infectitious skin disease such as dermatitis or broken skin.
  • 4\.Patients having arterial diseases or having chance of haemorrhage( recent soft tissue injury)
  • 5\.Patients diagnosed with epilepsy .
  • 6\.Patients with a stool form of type 6 and 7 in Bristol Stool Form Scale.
