Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1. Patients aged between 18 and 65 years
  • 2. Patients of either sex
  • 3. Suffering from tennis elbow – experiencing lateral elbow pain for 12 weeks or more, pain with resisted wrist extension, and tenderness on palpation over lateral epicondyle
  • 4. Patients who are literate, able to read Bengali or English, capable of filling the questionnaire and providing with written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1. Patients with previous trauma and/or undergone surgery of the elbow region
  • 2. Patients who are undergoing treatment with NSAIDS during 4 weeks prior to enrolment in the study
  • 3. Elbow pain due to peripheral nerve entrapment, cervical radiculopathy
  • 4. Corticosteroid injection within 6 months
  • 5. Vulnerable population – unconscious, ambulatory, too sick for consultation, differently abled, terminally ill or critically ill patients, mentally incompetent
  • 6. Unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other systemic diseases (e.g., uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, thyroid diseases etc.) affecting quality of life or any vital organ failure
  • 7. Currently receiving homoeopathic treatment for any chronic condition(s)
  • 8. Self-reported immune-compromised state
  • 9. Pregnant and puerperal women, lactating mothers
  • 10.Patients with habit of tobacco chewing and/or smoking, alcoholism and/or any other form(s) of substance abuse and/or dependence
