Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients undergoing surgical placement of dental implants

2. Age >18 years

3. Patientâ??s with single or multiple partially edentulous arches

4. Patient is able to read and understand questionnaires in English language

Exclusion Criteria

1. Chronic medicals conditions like Uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension

2. Patients who are under medication for psychological disorders

Investigating the level of pain and discomfort after implant placement and the factors influencing pain could provide information that would help patients to have more harmonious communication with dentists and to have realistic expectations about the dental <br/ ><br>procedure. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Reducing pain-related discomfort and swelling in the immediate postoperative period may significantly enhance the quality of life of the patient and increase treatment acceptance.Timepoint: T0-before surgical implant placement. <br/ ><br>T1-immediately after implant placement <br/ ><br>T2-everyday till 1 week after implant placemet. <br/ ><br>T3-after 15 days <br/ ><br>T4-after 1 month
