入选标准
- •18-65 years
- •Undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia
排除标准
- •Anti-emetic drugs or steroid administration within 24 hr before anaesthesia
- •K/c/o diabetes mellitus, pheochromocytoma, carcinoid tumour, gastro-oesophageal reflux, gastric outlet/ intestinal obstruction, PONV, motion sickness, migraine
- •H/o pancreatitis, alcoholism, jaundice or liver disorders
- •Obesity (BMI >30 kg/m2)
- •Pregnancy or lactation
- •Emergency surgery
- •Patients on continuous steroid therapy for >5 days in the last one year.
