we are conducting a quasi experimental study to assess the effect of nurse led interventions on anxiety level among patients undergoing PET Scan in PGIMER, Chandigarh.The study will identify the effect of nurse led interventions on anxiety level among patinets undergoing PET scan for first time. Nurse led interventions may reduce the anxiety of the patients. Their are two groups (control and experimental) in which routine care will be provided to control group and nurse led interventions to experimental group. we are using different tools to assess anxiety level that is observational behaviour checklist and hamilton anxiety scale of anxiety. the study will be conducted in the year of 2025-26.

- •Patients above 18 years of age undergoing PET scan for the first time.
- •Willing to participate in the study.

- •Patients who will be in altered state of consciousness.
