Age >45years
Phakic
Patent Laser Iridotomy present
IOP >25 mmHg at least 8 weeks post PI
Patient able and willing to give an informed consent to have lens extraction with primary implantation of intraocular lens ± goniosynechiolysis.
Advanced glaucoma in the potentially eligible eye as determined by either: (i) visual field loss (mean deviation worse than -12 dB) or (ii) cup-disc-ratio >= 0.9;
• Acute attack of angle closure glaucoma (APAC)
• Corneal opacity precluding anterior chamber evaluation
• Previous intra-ocular surgery
• One eyed patients
• Patient not consenting
