Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients fulfilling the criteria of possible Alzheimerâ??s

disease according to NINCDS- ADRDA

2.Patients without any other probable or possible causes of

Dementia

3.Patients who has done at least primary education up to

class five

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients with any kind of kidney disorders

2. Early onset of a focal seizure suggests

3. Previous or ongoing depression

4. Early prominent gait disturbance with only mild memory

loss

5. Resting tremor with stooped posture

6. When dementia occurs after a well-established

diagnosis of PD

7. The early appearance of Parkinsonian features in

association with fluctuating alertness, visual

hallucinations, or delusional misidentification suggests

8.Chronic alcoholism

9.Vitamin B12 deficiency

10.Chronic drug intoxication.

11.Dementia with any other explainable cause
