Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. ASA physical status : 1 and 2
- •2\. Aged between 18 â?? 65 years of either sexes.
- •3\. Patients receiving antihypertensive medication except beta blocker will be included
- •4\. Patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Diabetic autonomic neuropathy
- •2\. Patients on beta blocker therapy
- •3\. Patients having mouth opening \< 4 cms ;
- •4\. Thyromental distance \< 6 cm, a restricted neck mobility
- •5\. Patients with history of documented difficult airway
- •6\. BMI \> 30 Kg/ m2
- •7\. Atrioventricular block \> First degree
- •8\. Heart Rate \< 50 beats / min, Systolic Blood pressure \< 80 mmHg
