proven positive Covid 19 infection
Exclusion Criteria
1. refusal of blood collection during standard clinical examinations.
2. acute comorbidities that could affect study variables or pose a safety risk to the participant.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The study will prospectively investigate pathomechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 in acutely ill patients and on day 2, 5, 10 and 30.<br>1. erythrocytes: the deformability of critically ill patients with COVID-19 is significantly reduced compared to the normal population. <br>2 Inflammation: Inflammatory parameters such as interleukins.<br>3. non-inflammatory laboratory parameters are suitable to identify severely ill patients with COVID-19.<br>The combination of acute and long-term inflammatory and haemorheological data will provide clues to possible impairments in acute and long-term COVID-19 symptoms.
