Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients were in maintenance after complete of periodontal therapy and never received surgical periodontal therapy within the last 12 months.
2. Precence of at least one tooth with probing depth ≥ 5 mm. and gingival inflammation in each of two quadrants.
3. Contributing factors were corrected.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Any systemic disease that effect progression and healing process of periodontal disease or have to take antibiotic premedication
2. On medication that effect to periodontium
3. Pregnancy
4. Use of systemic antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs at least 3 months prior to this study
5. Smoker
6. Hopeless tooth
