- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Primary objectives:

1.To evaluate the usefulness of the PaO2/FIO2Ã?PEEP ratio and Static lung compliance for

predicting oxygenation status and ventilatory requirements after cardiac surgery in order to provide a

potential tool and value for immediate postoperative assessment in fast-tracking.

Timepoint: 7 months
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary objectives:

(d) To test the value of P/FP ratio and Static lung Compliance at 1hr post ICU

admission in predicting postoperative pulmonary complications.

(e) Evaluating P/FP ratio and Static lung compliance in predicting post extubation -

NIV (Non Invasive Ventilation) requirement and duration.

(f) To assess the correlation between P/FP ratio and Static lung compliance.Timepoint: 7 months
