Inclusion Criteria
1.Type 2 diabetic patients categorized as well controlled. HbA1C less than 7.5. (American Diabetes Association Guidelines 2017)
2.No active intraoral or systemic disease.
3.Mandibular bilaterally edentulous posterior teeth with satisfactory healing after tooth loss.
4.Minimum height of available bone - 11.5mm in the edentulous site.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Uncontrolled diabetic patients.
2.History of radiation therapy in the head and neck region.
3.Severe clenching or bruxism.
4.Smokers
5.Drug or alcohol abuse

Name Time Method The sites receiving igf-1 will have increased bone formation when compared to the site receiving placebo microspheres.Timepoint: Osseointegration around dental implants will be assessed at the 90th day after implant placement
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To check the activity of insulin like growth factor-1 on osseointegration. To assess and compare the bone healing between the control and test at two different time intervals.Timepoint: Osseointegration around dental implants will be assessed at 30th and 60th day after implant placement.
