Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Age \> 18 years old
  • Elective open major abdominal surgery
  • Estimated blood loss \>500 ml
  • Expected operative time \>120 min

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients refuse consent
  • Gynecological surgery
  • Heart failure
  • Cardiac arrhythmia
  • Poor peripheral circulation
  • Patient on pacemaker
  • Aortic valvular disease
  • Rapid high blood pressure from the vasoactive drug (Phenylephrine, Nicardipine)
  • esCCI \< 2\.5 L/min/m2
  • Renal impairment (CKD 4, 5\)
