- •Patients who developed new-onset nAMD in a second-affected eye, who had previously shown a poor response to as-needed ranibizumab in their first-affected eyes. Patients were diagnosed with nAMD when there was evidence of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) associated with nondrusenoid retinal pigment epithelium detachment (PED), serous or hemorrhagic retinal detachment, subretinal hemorrhage, subretinal pigment epithelial hemorrhage, or subretinal fibrosis.
排除标准
- •(1) patients with diabetic retinopathy or retinal vein occlusion, (2) patients with coexisting epiretinal membranes or vitreomacular traction syndrome, (3) patients with neovascularized maculopathies other than AMD, such as pathological myopia, angioid streaks, and (4) patients with a history of prior photocoagulation, intravitreal anti-VEGF injection, photodynamic therapy, intravitreal or sub-tenon steroid injection, vitrectomy surgery, or intravitreal gas injection.
