Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age greater than 50 years
- •2\.Either gender
- •3\.American Society of Anesthesiologists’ (ASA) physical status I, II or III
- •4\.Scheduled for elective surgery under spinal anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Body Mass Index (BMI) exceeding 30 kg/m²
- •2\.Taking angiotensin\-converting enzyme inhibitors
- •3\.Presence of any contraindications to spinal anesthesia
- •4\.Patients scheduled specifically for unilateral spinal anesthesia
- •5\.Failed spinal anesthesia
- •6\.Patients with a baseline arterial systolic blood pressure (SBP) lower than 90 mmHg
- •7\.Patient refusal to participate in study
