1.Age greater than 50 years
2.Either gender
3.American Society of Anesthesiologists’ (ASA) physical status I, II or III
4.Scheduled for elective surgery under spinal anesthesia
1.Body Mass Index (BMI) exceeding 30 kg/m²
2.Taking angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors
3.Presence of any contraindications to spinal anesthesia
4.Patients scheduled specifically for unilateral spinal anesthesia
5.Failed spinal anesthesia
6.Patients with a baseline arterial systolic blood pressure (SBP) lower than 90 mmHg
7.Patient refusal to participate in study
