Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All preschool children (3\-6yrs of age) admitted in the pediatric medical ward of the selected tertiary hospital who \-
- •are either male or female (equal number of male and female children shall be taken for the study)
- •are accompanied by a mother who is able to give consent
- •are available during the study period.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Preschool children with difficulty to access veins.
- •Preschool children undergoing unplanned IV cannulation procedure.
- •Preschool children who are critically ill.
- •Mothers of Preschool children who are not willing to participate in the study.
