Inclusion Criteria
All Very low birth weight infants (birth weight <1500 g) admitted in the neonatology unit of IPGME&R, Kolkata from January 2016 to December 2020.
Exclusion Criteria
1. VLBW infants with any major congenital malformation (cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurological, renal etc.)
2. Infants with suspected chromosomal anomaly, genetic syndromes or metabolic disorders

Name Time Method To determine the prevalence of ââ?¬Å?survival with severe disabilityââ?¬? in VLBW infants. <br/ ><br>Severe disability will be present if any of the following criteria satisfies: <br/ ><br>1.Weight -3SD below mean for age and sex <br/ ><br> or <br/ ><br>Length -3SD below mean for age and sex <br/ ><br> or <br/ ><br>Weight for length -3SD below mean for age and sex as per WHO MGRS chart <br/ ><br>2.MicrocephalyOFC -3SD below mean for age and sex <br/ ><br>3.DMeQ( developmental mental quotient) or DMoQ( developmental motor quotient) 70 in DASII <br/ ><br> Or <br/ ><br>Composite cognition or motor score 70 in BSID -III <br/ ><br>4. Binocular or monocular acuity in TAC-II( teller acuity card-2nd edition) 99% lower prediction limit for age <br/ ><br>5.Cerebral palsy with severe motor impairment (GMFCS level IV or V) <br/ ><br>6.Profound to severe hearing loss <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1. 18 -24 months corrected age <br/ ><br>2. 36 months corrected age
