入选标准
- •1. Chronic periodontitis indicated for periodontal flap surgery (more than 5mm residual pocket depth after phase I therapy of oral prophylaxis and maintenance)
- •2. Age > 30 years
- •3. Systemically healthy individual
排除标准
- •1. Patients with systemic illness like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, immunocompromised individuals etc.
- •2. Patients under medication that are known to affect the outcomes of periodontal therapy
- •3. Smokers and patients with any tobacco consumption habit
- •4. With known allergy to chlorhexidine or the components of the mouth rinse
- •5. Pregnant/ Lactating women
- •6. Patients who have taken anti-biotics in any form in the last 3 months
