入选标准
- •Adult patients scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anesthesia at our institution, for whom radial arterial line placement is planned for invasive blood pressure monitoring during surgery
- •Patients in whom preoperative ultrasonographic assessment of the radial artery is feasible
- •Patients with a BMI of >16 kg/m2 and <35 kg/m2
排除标准
- •Patients judged unable to provide sufficient cooperation for preoperative ultrasonographic examination due to impaired consciousness, cognitive decline, delirium, or severe agitation
- •Dialysis patients with an arteriovenous fistula in the forearm
- •Patients with a history of ipsilateral radial artery puncture within the preceding month
- •Patients judged to have factors predictive of difficult puncture based on preoperative ultrasonographic assessment, defined as any of the following:
- •Depth from the skin to the anterior wall of the radial artery =>4 mm
- •Radial artery internal diameter <=2.2 mm
- •Presence of bifurcation, tortuosity, or calcification of the radial artery
- •Patients who did not provide informed consent to participate in the study
- •Patients judged ineligible for any other reason by the principal investigator
