Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1)Patients of age between 20 - 60 years of age irrespective of gender, religion, education and socioeconomic status.
  • 2)Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of internal haemorrhoids and fulfilling Goligherâ??s grade 1st & 2nd criteria.
  • 3)Patients presenting with classical signs and symptoms of Arsha indicated for Kshara karma i.e. Mrudu (Soft), Prasruta (Extensive), Avagadha (Deeply Situated), Uchhrita ( Projectile) Arsha.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1)Goligharâ??s Grade 3rd and 4th degree haemorrhoids
  • 2)Infective / Inflamed haemorrhoids
  • 3)Thrombosed Haemorrhoids.
  • 4)Haemorrhoids with anal fissure and fistula-in-ano
  • 5)Ano-rectal malignancy
  • 6)Uncontrolled Hypertension & Diabetes mellitus
  • 7)HIV, HBsAg & VDRL Positive cases
  • 8)Pregnancy induced Haemorrhoids
