Inclusion Criteria

(1) patients with symptomatic high-grade internal carotid stenosis as a result of transient ischemic attack or ischemic stroke Thrombectomy
(2) indication for surgical carotid eversion thrombectomy
(3) Existence of informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

(1) The existence of intracerebral hemorrhage (2) Present broken skin within the scope of the medical device (redness, Neurodermatitis, etc.) and / or known allergy to ultrasound gel (3) Implementation of the carotid eversion thrombectomy later than 6 weeks after symptom onset (4) Severe heart failure, hemodynamically significant cardiac arrhythmias (5) contraindication to cerebral magnetic resonance imaging
