patients receiving a CSF puncture
a) All patients who are younger than 18 years old
b) Patients who do not agree to the research project
c) CSF samples from which, directly or indirectly, there is a diagnostic or therapeutic consequence for the patient in question
d) CSF samples that would not be immediately discarded, destroyed or disposed of without the present research project
e) Contain an amount of less than 5 milliliters.
f) Are visibly contaminated by blood or foreign substances.
g) Are cloudy or have precipitates.
h) show signs of an inflammatory change.
