Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients having histopathologically confirmed squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck region scheduled for 6ââ?¬â??7 weeks of RT with 60ââ?¬â??70Gy radiation dose (200cGy/ fraction for 5 days/week) irrespective of age and gender.
2.Patients with Karnofsky performance status score �70% (to assess the ability of the patients to follow instructions).
Exclusion Criteria
1. Physically handicapped/terminally ill patients which can affect the use of mouthwash.
2. Patients using any other mouthwash.
