Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) Male/female between 20 to 40 years
- •2\) Non\-smokers
- •3\) BMI: 18,5 \- 30,0 kg/m2
- •4\) Currently not meeting WHO\-recommendations for moderate physical activity (less than 150 min/week)
- •5\) Less than 60 min/week of exercise during leisure time (including sports participation, endurance oriented activities, muscle strenghtening) and no regular exercise for several weeks during the last six months
- •6\) Maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max): 25 \- 50 ml/min/kg
- •7\) No current or former eating disorder or obesity
- •8\) No severe internistic or neurological previous illness
- •9\) No pregnancy or breastfeeding period
- •10\) German as a native language
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Chronic diseases or findings that results in a decreased ability to participate in a physical activity intervention
- •2\) Medication or supplement intake within the last 4 weeks, which according to the physicans might interfer with the study results (exception: contraceptives)
- •3\) Counter indication(s) for local anaesthetics
- •4\) Clinically relevant devaitions in the lab results
- •5\) Pathological indications in the resting\-ECG
- •6\) Vein conditions that do not allow for multiple blood sampling
- •7\) Participation in a medication study within the last three months
- •8\) Drug use, alcohol abuse
- •9\) Current psychotherapy
