Inclusion Criteria
Adult patients (20-65 yrs) of either sex, ASA physical status I or II, who are scheduled for
abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia and thoracic epidural analgesia, will be
included in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
• Patients unable to understand the self scoring
patientâ??s pain assessment tool
• Patient refusal
