Inclusion Criteria
Preterm neonates with
1) Gestational age between 31 and 34 weeks
2) Not treated by sedatives 24 hrs prior to intervention
3) Feeding every 2 hrs.
Exclusion Criteria
1)An immediate need for administration of any procedures for the neonate.
2) Having major congenital defects or abnormal neurologic findings.
3) Infants on kangaroo mother care (KMC) or phototherapy
