Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Children of 0\-15yrs age, of either sex, posted for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia
  • •ASA physical status I \& II

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Refusal by parents for the procedure
  • •Fever and respiratory tract infection
  • •Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
  • •Children with anticipated difficult airway
  • •Congenital anomalies involving ear\-
  • •Surgery involving the airway and oropharynx
  • •Emergency surgeries.
