Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •a.Biopsy proven case of carcinoma tongue
- •b.Age \>\= 18 years
- •c.Clinical tumor stages T2\-T4 (AJCC\- TNM)
- •d.Plan of treatment is surgery
- •e.Ability to comply with all criteria and interventions
Exclusion Criteria
- •a.Previous surgery for tongue carcinoma
- •b.Previous chemotherapy or radiotherapy for tongue carcinoma
- •c.Unfit for surgery
- •d.Presence of an MRI done outside TMH prior to registration, without the specified sequences
- •e.Patient with severe trismus where ankyloglossia cannot be assessed
