Age > 18 years
existing capacity to consent

Control group:
No diagnosed oral squamous cell carcinoma
Age > 18 years
existing capacity to consent
not a family member 1° of a case

Exclusion Criteria

Case group:
Oro-, naso- hypopharyngeal carcinoma, lip carcinoma
History of other malignant disease
Age < 18 years
no existing capacity to consent
Immunosuppression

Control group:
Age < 18 years
no existing capacity to consent
History of malignant disease
Immunosuppression
Family member 1° of a case
