Inclusion Criteria
having a diagnosis of primary, uncomplicated, inguinal hernia and fit for general anaesthesia & surgery
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnancy, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), chronic cough, coagulopathy, constipation, morbid obesity, known case of connective tissue disorders and conditions predisposing to immunosuppression viz., diabetes mellitus, usage of steroids, chronic renal failure, chronic liver disease
