Known consenting Diabetes Mellitus patients aged 18 years and above with ulcer or wound over the lower extremity of the body

Exclusion Criteria

Nondiabetic patients (except as controls) or patients having wounds not related to diabetic state or have complications like varicose ulcers, vasculitis, specific infections (e.g. tuberculosis, actinomycosis, etc.) and neoplastic
