简要总结
The study is to see the immediate effect of Active Release Technique V/S Positional Release Technique for gastrocnemius latent trigger points to decrease pain, improve ankle dorsiflexion and vertical jump height in football players. 41 participants will be recruited according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and will be randomly divided into two groups viz ART group and PRT group . Both ART and PRT have been proven to be effective in reducing pain and improving ROM and vertical jump height, but existing study pool lack sufficient previous comparative researches between the two. Hence, current study will focus on the comparison between ART and PRT to give clear idea about superiority of any one technique over other if at all exists and help us understand which intervention will give better results and can be used as first line on-field intervention for the players or whether can be used to expect the same outcome keeping in mind the ease with which interventions can be performed.
